Course Structure

The course will be delivered over a total of 52 weeks, which comprises 40 study weeks and 12 weeks of term break.

Entry Criteria

The following local entry criteria apply:


  • Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age at enrolment
  • Successfully completed High School Certificate (Year 12) or equivalent
  • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions)
  • Or have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise
  • Have sound English literacy skills
  • Provide IELTS certificate showing an overall band 6.0, or undertake Choice Business College's Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment and achieve the following ACSF Levels:
    • Learning: Level 4
    • Reading: Level 4
    • Writing: Level 4
    • Oral Communication: Level 4
    • Numeracy: Level 4

Course Credit

Credit Transfer is the recognition of learning achieved through formal education and training. Students may be required to formally apply and submit an authenticated copy of their previously attained AQF documentation for review.


Recognition of Prior Learning

All students are offered the opportunity to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) at enrolment. Students may be granted credit or partial credit in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience, and/or prior training.


Course Outcome

Successful completion of all ten units of competencies required to be awarded with an AQF certification. Partial completions will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment.

Assessment Methods

Assessments may be conducted through a combination of the following methods:


  • Knowledge Questions
  • Project Portfolio
  • Practical activities in simulated industry environments

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

All students are required by the Australian Government to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). If a student does not have a USI, the college cannot issue their credential.
