Program Journey

The program is divided into five modules:

• MODULE 1 Industry Introduction: Students understand how design, pattern cutting, production, and sourcing teams collaborate to bring products to market.
• MODULE 2 Technical Specification and Documentation: Students learn how to build professional tech packs, including specification sheets, measurement charts, construction details, and material lists.
• MODULE 3 Textile Science and Construction: Students gain in-depth knowledge of fibers, yarn classifications, fabric performance, and finishing processes.
• MODULE 4 Sourcing and Manufacturing: Students explore domestic and overseas sourcing strategies and learn how to identify suppliers, manage factory allocation, calculate lead times, confirm lab dips, and coordinate sampling processes.
• MODULE 5 Production Planning and Final Project: Students develop four manufactured items, including domestic and overseas production projects, and present their final products and documentation to peers and instructors.
