Instructor Profiles

Komal Chharahhan

Komal Chharahhan is the founder and creative director of Ginni Gill. She is an Indo-Canadian fashion designer with a passion for garment making. Komal has a degree in fashion design with a specialty in fashion marketing and has acquired expertise in pattern making and garment construction.


Liz Gao

Liz Gao is a fashion and costume designer with a strong foundation in creative design and technical garment construction. She has worked as a freelance costume designer and designed apparel for a fashion startup. Liz has also gained experience at the Lululemon head office and has studied technical pattern making and Gerber AccuMark.


Laura Smith

Laura Smith has been sewing clothing since 2016 and has a Fashion Design Creative Arts Diploma from The Cut Design Academy. She has been working primarily as a corset maker and has designed a couture collection that was part of Vancouver Fashion Week SS 25.

The program is not subject to review by the Private Training Institution Regulatory Unit of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. Students may not file a claim against the Student Tuition Protection Fund in relation to this program.
