Clinical Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology I

Course Description

This immersive clinical course provides trainees with hands-on training in the field of oral and maxillofacial radiology. Participants will develop their diagnostic acumen through the process of reviewing imaging examinations and composing interpretive imaging-based diagnostic reports on the full variety of imaging examinations seen in the UCLA oral radiology clinic. These imaging examinations include intraoral radiographs, panoramic radiographs, CBCT, CT, and MRI imaging. Additionally, the course trains trainees to competency in the technical aspects of image acquisition for intraoral, panoramic, and CBCT imaging modalities.
