Program Overview

The Lean Six Sigma program provides training in Six Sigma principles, including green-belt, black-belt, lean operations, and methodologies for process improvement and waste reduction. This program can be completed online or in the classroom.

Program Structure

Please note that in the interest of streamlining program offerings, the previously separate courses, Black Belt I and Black Belt II, have been combined into a new course: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Thus, this program now consists of two courses instead of three.


Special Considerations

For students who declared candidacy before Winter 2026, if you still need to take either Black Belt I or Black Belt II to complete the program, taking the new Lean Six Sigma Black Belt course will satisfy this requirement. If you have not yet taken either Black Belt I or Black Belt II, you will need to complete the new combined Black Belt course as part of the required courses. Notification to the relevant department is necessary to ensure that the substitution is applied.
