Inclusive Leadership
Course Description
In this workshop, participants will create a customized business case that can be immediately used in discussions with management, employees, and current or prospective customers. The course focuses on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), which is currently a high priority for many business owners and leaders.
Course Objectives
- Understand the impact of diversity, equity, inclusion, and unconscious bias on individuals and others
- Articulate a customized and compelling business case for diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Leverage the 7 Inclusive Leadership Competencies to become a more skilled and effective leader
- Learn how to create and sustain a culture of inclusion for fostering growth, optimal performance, and a thriving work environment
Course Details
The workshop is highly interactive, consisting of two parts totaling 10 hours. Participants will become familiar with concepts related to DEI and understand how they impact themselves, their business, and stakeholders. They will identify barriers to inclusion and learn how to overcome them. The 7 Inclusive Leadership Competencies will be discussed, and participants will create specific and impactful strategies for developing them. Organizational best practices in creating high-performing inclusive cultures will also be offered to increase engagement, respect, productivity, innovation, teamwork, and position all employees for success in today's evolving work environment.
