Introduction to the Icelandic BA Program
The Icelandic BA program at University College London (UCL) is a unique degree that offers students the opportunity to become fluent in Icelandic and gain specialist skills ideal for working in Nordic countries and companies. Through this program, students will learn Icelandic from beginner level, study a mainland Scandinavian language, and spend a valuable year in Reykjavik honing their knowledge and skills.

The program is designed to be completed in four academic years, with the third year spent abroad in Iceland. Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the Icelandic BA program, students must meet the following entry requirements:
- A levels: ABB, with a foreign language preferred
- IB Diploma: 34 points, with a total of 16 points in three higher level subjects, preferably including a foreign language, with no higher level score below 5
- GCSEs: English Language at grade B or 6 and Mathematics at grade C or 4
- Contextual offer: BBC, with a total of 15 points in three higher level subjects, preferably including a foreign language, with no higher level score below 5
