Description

The course introduces students to the Python programming language and fundamental concepts underlying programming, including data structures, types, iteration, file input/output, and the use of mathematical and statistical packages. Students will also be exposed to computation methods for analyzing real crime-related datasets, such as survey data, crime reports, and DNA data, through weekly labs.
