Description
The module should enable students to design, undertake, analyse, present, and write up empirical work. Students will be familiar with this kind of module from PSYC0330, the first-year laboratory module. During the course of the year, students design and carry out two labs. These are carried out in groups and with the support of a PGTA and an academic Lab Mentor.
Teaching Delivery
The expected delivery format is that each week students meet with the PSYC0012 teaching team for 1 hour, in which they will work on their experiment with their group members and supported by their group's post-graduate teaching assistant (PGTA). Students will also meet for 1 hour with their "Lab Mentor" who will give feedback on the progress of their experiment.
Note
The usual teaching pattern may change for this module due to an early end to Term 2.
