Program Structure
The program is structured around a 50/50 ratio between Scandinavian Studies and History of Art. In the first two years, students will take modules in their chosen Scandinavian language, as well as modules in art history. The third year is spent abroad, studying at a university or undertaking a work placement in a country where the chosen language is spoken. In the final year, students will return to UCL and take advanced modules in language, literature, and art history.
Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for the program are as follows:
- A levels: ABB, with a foreign language preferred
- IB Diploma: 34 points, with a total of 16 points in three higher-level subjects, and no higher-level score below 5
- GCSEs: English Language at grade B or 6, and Mathematics at grade C or 4
- Contextual offer: BBC, with a foreign language preferred
Assessment
Modules are assessed through a mixture of written examinations, essays, and other forms of coursework. Language modules will also include an oral examination.
