Introduction to Medieval and Renaissance Studies MA

The Medieval and Renaissance Studies MA is a one-year program that offers technical training in deciphering manuscripts and handling artifacts while building advanced research skills. Students will have access to some of London's finest collections and get first-hand experience handling original documents and manuscripts.

Entry Requirements

• A minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
• English language requirements: Level 4

Course Overview

The program lasts 12 months (full-time) or 24 months (part-time) and is designed to encourage students to undertake interdisciplinary study to a high degree. It offers a large number of course options across seven different departments, giving students the flexibility to receive intensive tuition in small groups in two or three disciplines.

Teaching and Learning
