Description

The aim of this module is to provide students with the basic transferable skills for planning, executing, and disseminating scientific research, with a particular focus on the effective communication of science using written, oral, and visual methods. The module also incorporates training in scientific integrity, career planning, and obtaining research funding, with the aim of establishing a foundation that will support students as they progress in research careers in academia and beyond.


The course consists of seminars, workshops, and discussion sessions with assessed components focused on communication of the students' research projects to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
