Description
Overview
This module provides students with the experience of working in a multi-disciplinary group to design a complex engineering product, system, or service under stringent time and resource limitations. Students apply the engineering knowledge and skills acquired in the earlier part of the MSc program to a multifaceted design problem. The group project involves formal project management techniques, such as planning, resource allocation, cost estimation, project monitoring, and reporting, as well as developing commercial skills and business awareness.
