Program Overview
Introduction to the Project Management MSc
The Project Management MSc is a postgraduate program designed to provide students with the theoretical fundamentals and critical skills required for a career in project management. The program is accredited by the Association of Project Managers (APM) and has been awarded Academic Accreditation.

Accreditation
The program is accredited by the Association of Project Managers (APM), the only chartered membership organization for the project profession in the world. The University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS) is also one of an elite group of institutions worldwide to hold the gold standard triple-accreditation from AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS.
Course Structure
The program is delivered over 12 months and consists of four compulsory modules and two optional modules. Students are required to complete a project carried out over the summer on completion of semester two.

Final Project
Students have a choice of either a three-month MSc project (industrial partner or research-based) or Business Simulation Analysis, both with the same 60 credit value.
Teaching and Assessment
Modules are taught using the latest active learning techniques, including business simulations, real-world case studies, interactive participation software, lecture capture, and flipped classroom. Assessment tasks are varied and include coursework, essays, group work, presentations, case studies, negotiation exercises, reports, and examinations.
Careers and Employability
The program offers opportunities to explore the latest cross-sector developments in project management, equipping graduates with the tools and insights needed for leadership roles in the field. Within twelve months of graduation, 87% of MSc Project Management alumni are employed, holding roles such as Project Design Coordinator, IT Project Manager, Graduate Project Manager, and Project Officer.
Fees and Funding
Tuition fees for the program are:
- UK fees: Ł15,000 (full-time), Ł7,500 (part-time)
- International fees: Ł32,000 (full-time), Ł16,000 (part-time)

Entry Requirements
The program requires a 2:2 honors degree from a UK university or an equivalent academic qualification from a similar non-UK institution. International qualifications and English language requirements also apply.
English Language Requirements
International applicants must demonstrate competence in the use of English language, with accepted tests including IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo English Test, Pearson PTE Academic, and LanguageCert Academic.
Pre-Sessional English
International applicants who do not meet the minimum required standard of English language can complete a Pre-Sessional English course to achieve the required level.
