Introduction to Diagnostic Radiography (Pre-registration) MSc
The Diagnostic Radiography (Pre-registration) MSc is a postgraduate program designed for individuals seeking to work as diagnostic radiographers in the NHS or private sector. Course Content

Course Structure
The program is divided into two years, with the following compulsory modules:
Year One
- CLINICAL AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE (DRAD403) - 20 credits
- MUSCULOSKELETAL AND SOFT TISSUE IMAGING SYSTEMS 1 (DRAD402) - 20 credits
- RADIOGRAPHIC SCIENCE AND IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES (DRAD401) - 20 credits
- MUSCULOSKELETAL AND SOFT TISSUE IMAGING SYSTEMS 2 (DRAD404) - 15 credits
- RESEARCH METHODS IN HEALTHCARE PRACTICE (HEAL417) - 15 credits
Year Two
- DISSERTATION: HEALTHCARE PRACTICE (HEAL418) - 45 credits
- ADVANCED IMAGING TECHNIQUES AND MULTIMODALITY IMAGING (DRAD501) - 20 credits
- PROFESSIONALISM, ADVANCED PRACTICE AND IMAGING SERVICES (DRAD502) - 25 credits
Teaching and Assessment
The program utilizes team-based learning, problem-based learning, and research-connected teaching. Students will be assessed through a variety of methods, including:

Entry Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A 2:2 honors degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
- GCSEs in Mathematics, English Language, and a Science at a minimum of grade 5 or C or above
- A personal statement outlining their understanding of the profession and relevant qualities
- Observation experience of diagnostic radiographers or other relevant experience
English Language Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate competence in English language, with an IELTS score of 7.0 overall and no component below 6.5.
