Fees and Funding
Tuition Fees
- UK fees: Ł5,238 (full-time) or Ł2,619 (part-time) per year
- International fees: Ł32,200 (full-time) or Ł16,100 (part-time) per year Fees are subject to change and may be adjusted for inflation.

Funding Your PhD
UK nationals or those with settled status in the UK may be eligible for a Postgraduate Doctoral Loan worth up to Ł30,301. Alternative sources of funding include funded research opportunities, financial support from UK research councils, charities, and trusts.
Scholarships and Bursaries
The university offers various scholarships and bursaries, including:
- Duncan Norman Research Scholarship: full payment of PhD fees and a cash bursary of Ł23,000 per year
- John Lennon Memorial Scholarship: financial support worth up to Ł12,000 per year for up to three years of full-time postgraduate research

Entry Requirements
To apply for the program, students should normally hold:
- A UK honors degree or overseas equivalent at 2:1 or above in a relevant subject
- A UK master's degree or overseas equivalent in a relevant subject English language requirements:
- IELTS: 7.0 overall, with no component below 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: 100 overall, with minimum scores of listening 21, writing 21, reading 21, and speaking 23
- Pearson PTE Academic: 69 overall, with no component below 61 Pre-sessional English courses are available for students who do not meet the English language requirements.
