The School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing offers a module titled "Advancing Practice in Lung Cancer Management and Patient Care" (RADT760). This module is designed to allow learners to critically evaluate current and emerging strategies in the management and holistic care of patients with lung cancer.

Module Details and Indicative Content
Learners will critically examine the professional policy, current guidance, and evidence base relating to the management of lung cancer. They will also critique the decision-making, risk assessment, and therapeutic intervention in relation to the management and holistic care of the lung cancer patient, and assess personal professional development in the field of lung cancer management through self-reflection.
Assessment
There are 2 summative assessments:
- Literature review, case study, or other (scope of practice dependent)
- Critical reflection of the learning journey To support summative assessment, there are opportunities to undertake formative assessment.
