ANIMATION & CGI Digital stories

The three-year course in ANIMATION & CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) Digital Stories is a collaborative effort with Red Raion, now in its second edition. This innovative program is designed to prepare professionals in the field of digital animation, videogames, and audiovisual production.


Objectives

The course aims to form figures who are immediately employable in the world of animation and videogames, which are among the most interesting areas in terms of job opportunities. The disciplines covered include the entire pipeline of developing audiovisual animated products, both pre-rendered and in real-time, characterized by a strong narrative component.

Yearly Breakdown

1° Year: Telling through Images

The first year focuses on the fundamentals of pre-production, including creative writing, storyboarding, concept art, and character design.


2° Year: Audiovisual Production

The second year delves into the production phase, where students develop more complex outputs. They consolidate their skills through the application of digital modelling techniques, character and environment animation, and camera animation.


3° Year: Post-production and Portfolio Development

The third year is dedicated to refining skills through direction and post-production. Students work on a personal thesis project, which is a key element for entering the job market. The project involves creating a demo reel, a video portfolio that, along with the curriculum, serves as a "business card" for accessing the job market.
