Business Administration Accounting
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in accounting principles and practices.
Program Requirements
To graduate, students must complete 60 semester credits. The program consists of a sequence of courses that provide a foundation in accounting, business, and general education.

Program Notes
- Accounting majors must achieve a minimum of a C average in Financial Accounting I, Financial Accounting II, and Managerial Accounting to enroll in Intermediate Accounting I.
- Business Electives must be selected from the Larry L. Luing School of Business courses.
Certification and Licensure
Graduates of Berkeley College Accounting programs do not automatically become Certified Public Accountants (CPA). To be licensed as a CPA, applicants must complete specified educational and/or experience requirements, demonstrate good moral character, and pass a CPA examination. CPA requirements vary by jurisdiction.
