Professional doctorates are available for emerging leaders in the education and health sectors.

• Doctor of Education
• Doctor of Health
• Doctor of Nursing
• Doctor of Midwifery

Eligibility and Application

Professional doctorates in Education, Health, Midwifery, and Nursing are restricted to New Zealand citizens or permanent residents. These programs build on a significant period of professional practice.

• Applications for the professional doctorates are considered once a year.
• The deadline for applications is 1 November.

Application Process

Applications are made via the Faculty of Graduate Research.
