Course Learning Objectives
Students who pass this course should be able to:
- Locate and evaluate information relevant to a research question or topic of investigation.
- Understand and appropriately apply the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi and the Vision Mātauranga to a research project.
- Undertake a methodologically appropriate review or study of a subject relevant to health and wellbeing.
- Prepare a report to the professional standard of the health industry.
How This Course Is Taught
Students work under supervision to develop and conduct a small research project. The project focuses on improving or solving an issue in health and wellbeing. Regular group tutorials/supervisions are offered throughout the course to support project development.

- Research Project Plan: Individual, 20%
- Oral Presentation: Individual, 20%
- Research Report: Individual, 60%
