Course Learning Objectives
Students who pass this course should be able to:
- Evaluate how environmental qualities define a specific designed environment
- Gather and analyse environmental data to explore its effects on humans and human comfort
- Identify and illustrate how buildings, building elements, and landscapes can be modified to achieve desired environmental conditions
How This Course is Taught
Teaching and learning in this course are delivered in two 1-hour lectures combined with one 2-hour laboratory or tutorial per week. Lectures and tutorials require in-person attendance, with lecture recordings available for subsequent revision.

- Project 1: Environmental Assessment (1250 words) - 50%
- Project 2: Modifying Environments (1750 words) - 50%
