Course Overview
IXXN 202: Design for Experience II is a course that focuses on user experience (UX) design techniques. Students will become adept at using industry-standard tools and techniques, including case study analysis, user interface design, rapid visualization, and prototyping.

- Restrictions: Students who have already passed IXXN 302 cannot take this course

Course Learning Objectives
- Critically analyze emerging methods employed by user experience design experts to address a real-life problem.
- Investigate and choose appropriate design approaches for project development.
- Integrate and apply user experience design approaches towards solving a real-life problem.
- Present user experience with a critical analysis of findings.
Assessment
- Project 1: Defining the challenges (a visual research report, 500 words, 35% of the final mark)
- Project 2: Design, test, and refine (45 hours, 40% of the final mark)
- Project 3: Communicate (28 hours, 25% of the final mark)
