The Marketing for Health course, MARK 212, explores the marketing of health and wellbeing, including the construction and evaluation of communication campaigns to address health and wellness in the community and organisations.

Course Learning Objectives
Students who pass this course should be able to:
- Explain the unique factors that make up health services and consumer behaviour within this context.
- Apply the principles of effective marketing communications to develop communication solutions regarding health and wellbeing to a range of audiences.
- Target diverse audiences by applying indigenous and cultural perspectives to marketing communications for health and wellbeing services.
- Describe and critique current issues surrounding marketing for health.
How This Course is Taught
This course is taught via blended weekly lectures, workshops, and tutorials. Group-based workshops over the 12-week period emphasise case study-based learning and class presentations. The interactive workshops require in-person attendance and will not be recorded. The lectures and tutorials may include presentations by organisation representatives. On-campus attendance is required to complete this course. Tutorials for this course will be delivered on campus only.

- Assignments: 70%
- Workshop Activity (Group Work): 30%
