Course Learning Objectives
Students who pass this course will be able to:
- Apply a secure design methodology to identify and analyze potential security threats in various computing environments.
- Evaluate different security testing techniques to determine their effectiveness in identifying vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement countermeasures against common security threats.
How This Course Is Taught
This course is offered in-person, with two in-person lectures and one tutorial per week, unless a respective time slot is used for a test. In-person tests cannot be completed online and cannot be substituted for by alternative assessment. Assignments are marked in person during scheduled lab sessions.
