The course HRER 301, Workplace Wellbeing, explores the role of HRM in promoting wellbeing in the workplace. It covers topics such as health and safety, workplace bullying, harassment, stress, and accidents, as well as effective preventative steps and interventions. The course focuses on psychosocial factors in the workplace.

About This Course
This course focuses on how both organisations and individuals can promote wellbeing at work, including positive aspects like growth and development, and negative aspects like PTSD, harassment, and bullying. It integrates scholarly rigour with practical skills for students.
Course Learning Objectives
Students who pass this course should be able to:
- Explain the influences that shape wellbeing in the workplace and threats to it.
- Analyse and critically evaluate HRM practices and their impact on wellbeing at work.
- Apply HRM knowledge to improve wellbeing and address harm in the workplace.
- Effectively communicate HRM ideas and arguments to stakeholders.
How This Course Is Taught
