Course Objectives
Students who pass this course will be able to:
- Apply risk management frameworks to address risks affecting an organisation
- Evaluate and communicate the results of data analyses presented in a range of formats, to provide relevant information for decision making
- Evaluate existing and emerging technology solutions to meet business objectives and strategy
- Apply critical thinking skills to generate solutions to authentic business problems
How This Course is Taught
- Lectures can be accessed synchronously (live-stream) through Zoom
- Due to the nature of some course material, some lectures may be online only (via Zoom)
- Note: For 2026, the class will be on a Wednesday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
- There will be four 3-hour workshops and a 1-hour introductory class
- All lectures will be recorded and available on NUKU throughout the course
- There are no assessments requiring in-person attendance
Assessment
- Assessment 1: Week 5, Type: Individual, Mark: 40%
- Assessment 2: Week 9, Type: Individual, Mark: 60%
