IELTS Preparation Course

The IELTS Preparation course is a 40-hour short course designed to prepare domestic and international students for the IELTS exam.

Overview

The course provides an introduction to the IELTS exam, review of vocabulary and language skills at advanced levels, exploration of IELTS themes and exam requirements, and access to the Unitec Library. Students can choose to prepare for either the Academic or General IELTS exam.

Resources

Students enrolled in the IELTS Preparation course are lent an IELTS coursebook.

Venue

The course is held at the Department of Language Studies, Entry 3, Carrington Road, Mt Albert Campus, Auckland.

Fees

The course fees are as follows:

• Domestic: $364.79 (including GST and Student Services Fee)
• International: $740.44 (including GST and Student Services Fee)

Refunds

A student may be eligible for a refund of 90% of the short course fee paid if they withdraw and request the refund in writing at least seven days before the class start date. If the course is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, a 100% refund of the short course fee paid will be provided, or a transfer to another class or course can be arranged. No refund will be given in any other circumstances.
