Vehicle Inspectors Preparatory Course
This short course is designed for people in the automotive industry who want to carry out vehicle inspections. Upon completion of this course, participants may apply to the New Zealand Transport Agency for assessment.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Unitec Certificate of Attendance.
Course Details
Pre-requisites
The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) is the licensing provider for this license. Before enrolling, students must check the latest requirements to become a NZTA Authorised Vehicle Inspector.
Duration
The course is 4 days long, spread over 1 or 2 weeks.
Fee
- Domestic Student Fee: $1,080.88 (inclusive of 15% GST and Student Services fee)
- International Student Fee: $1,166.18 (inclusive of 15% GST and Student Services fee) Note: International students must hold a valid New Zealand visa for the full duration of the programme, and this short-term course does not qualify for a student visa.
Minimum Enrolment Number
The minimum number of students required to run the class is 6. If this number is not reached, the class will be cancelled, and students will be notified ahead of closure.
Maximum Enrolment Number
The maximum number of students allowed in the class is 10.
