Program Overview
The Master of Arts in Educational Technology (MA in EdTech) is a cutting-edge program offered through the Ruth S. Ammon College of Education and Health Sciences at Adelphi University. This program is designed to equip students with the right blend of hands-on training, computer programming, and knowledge about teaching and learning, preparing them for a successful career in today's educational technology landscape.
Program Structure
The MA in EdTech is a 32-credit program that can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. Full-time students typically enroll in three to four courses per semester, while part-time students enroll in two to three courses per semester. Most students complete the program in two years.
Curriculum

Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the MA in EdTech program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a recommended minimum GPA of 3.0. Application materials include:
- Completed application
- Official transcripts for all schools attended
- Personal statement describing goals in pursuing graduate study in educational technology
- Two letters of recommendation
- Current résumé or CV
- $60 application fee No GRE is required for admission.
Tuition
The tuition for the online MA in EdTech is $895 per credit hour, with a total tuition of $28,640 for the 32-credit program. A deposit of $200 is required.
