The Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) program is designed to provide students with the experience and expertise needed to offer individualized counseling and advocacy to students in K-12 schools. The PPS Credential in School Counseling is a requirement for working in K-12 schools as a counselor.
Program Details
The PPS program offers students the opportunity to gain expertise in school counseling, with the option to add a specialization in Child Welfare and Attendance. This specialization provides additional training in working with students who are most at-risk for school failure.
Credentialing
Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible for the Clear Pupil Personnel Services Credential, which is offered by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Specialization
