Our multidisciplinary studies degree program allows you to combine multiple areas of study to create a flexible and individualized program that meets your interests. A multidisciplinary studies degree encourages creativity, innovation, critical thinking, and integrative learning by enabling students to examine topics from multiple academic perspectives.

Multidisciplinary Studies Major Curriculum

Students can formulate a degree plan from multiple content areas to achieve the 120 credit hours to completion. Content areas must be planned and created in conjunction with the multidisciplinary studies program academic advisor and the approval of the department chair. This program creates a flexible and academically challenging degree.


Degree Requirements

  • 30 credit hours – General Education
  • 12 credit hours – Quantitative Reasoning and Natural Sciences
  • 15 credit hours – Minor of choice
  • 32 credit hours – 300-level or higher classes
  • 63 credit hours – two to three approved disciplines (minimum 18 credit hours each)
