Global Ambassador Program
The Global Ambassador Program at Purdue University Northwest is a dynamic community of students passionate about travel, cultural exchange, and international experiences.
Who We Are
Global Ambassadors are PNW students working together to bridge cultures and connect people. They represent a diverse mix of backgrounds and perspectives, but share a common goal: to make every student feel welcome, informed, and inspired to explore the world.
What We Do
Global Ambassadors lead and support a variety of events and initiatives, including:
- Outreach and Awareness: Inspiring fellow PNW students to consider study away opportunities and discover how global experiences can enhance their education and career paths.
- Peer Assistance: Offering guidance, friendship, and support to new international students as they adjust to life at PNW.
- Cultural Exchange Events: Hosting interactive activities, celebrations, and discussions that bring the world to campus.
Why It Matters
The program believes that cultural exchange enriches the campus and students' lives, and that by connecting people across cultures, they can build mutual understanding, lifelong friendships, and the skills needed to thrive in an interconnected world.
Program Eligibility
All PNW students are welcome to join the Global Ambassador Program if they are:
- Enthusiastic about meeting people from different cultures
- Excited to share their own travel or international experience
- Eager to help others feel connected and supported
