The Trent Master of Arts in History M.A. is a unique program that offers students the opportunity to delve deep into one of more than 30 areas of study, many of which are one-of-a-kind in Canada. This program allows students to work with world-class scholars who are as interested in their research as they are in their own.

Program Structure

The program offers Accelerated Master's Pathways in History, with two options: Thesis or Course-based (Major Research Paper). The duration of the program is 12-20 months.
