Implant Dentistry Licensure
The Implant Dentistry Licensure program at Jacksonville University's Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences has specific requirements for licensure.
Licensure Disclosure
Residents of the program are required to be licensed dentists in the state where their assigned Jacksonville University Academic Clinical Residency Site is located. The sites are located in AZ, CA, FL, KY, NJ, NC, OH, OR, SD, and TN. Residents are encouraged to confirm their licensure status in the state where they will be conducting their clinical comprehensive oral implantology training.
Licensure Examinations
The American Board of Dental Examiners, Inc. (ADEX) is a test development agency that serves its member state dental boards in developing licensure examinations for dentistry professionals. The ADEX examination is accepted by the greatest number of states and jurisdictions that license dental professionals. Each state dental board decides which examination they accept, and these states make changes on a regular basis.

- The Council of Interstate Testing Agencies, Inc. (CITA)
International Licensure
Licensed dentists in Canada who have successfully completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada's (NDEB) Certification Process are also being accepted for licensure in some US states. Jacksonville University advises licensed Canadian dentists to contact the state licensing board for more information.
