Program Overview
Hart School of Hospitality, Sport & Recreation Management
The Hart School of Hospitality, Sport & Recreation Management offers a comprehensive program in Sport and Recreation Management (SRM). The program requires a minimum of 120 credit hours of undergraduate coursework for the B.S. degree. In addition to the major coursework, students must complete either the General Business Minor or the Entrepreneurship Minor, which must be declared through MyMadison. The minor programs provide focused course topics in areas such as accounting, finance, and management, among others. The SRM major course topics include sociology, psychology, and management of sport and recreation, as well as ethical and legal issues, sport marketing, and facilities and event management.
