Program Overview

The program is designed for JMU graduates with a BS degree in Kinesiology and a concentration in PHETE.

Application Deadline

The application will open on October 1, and February 1 is the deadline to be guaranteed consideration.

Program Begins

The program begins in the summer.

Transcripts

• Unofficial transcripts from all post-secondary institutions should be uploaded with the electronic application and may be used for departmental admission review purposes.
  • If offered admission, official transcripts from any institution from which a degree has been awarded must be submitted to the JMU Graduate School to finalize admission.
• Transcripts are considered official if they are sent to JMU directly from the issuing institution.

Required by Program

• The program is only open to JMU graduates with a BS degree in Kinesiology and a concentration in PHETE.
• A GPA of 3.0 or higher in the last two undergraduate years is required.
• Consistent demonstration and appreciation of professional dispositions at an acceptable standard are also required.

International Applicants
