Building Construction Management Associate Degree
This program provides a comprehensive education in the fundamentals of scheduling, surveying, CAD, estimating, programming, codes, and contracts. Graduates gain a broad perspective on construction, including wood, masonry, concrete, and steel, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. They are prepared to work on large commercial projects as well as residential construction, with possible job opportunities including job supervisors, inspectors, estimators, office managers, and field superintendents.
Graduates of this program may enter Wentworth's bachelor's degree programs in Building Construction Management or Project Management.
- Students who have earned a Massachusetts State Supervisors License are eligible to receive four (4) credits of advanced standing for BLDG1050 CONTRACTS & CODES.
- This advanced standing is awarded based on prior learning and experience.
- Students who have completed Wentworth's non-credit Construction Certificate are eligible to receive advanced standing for BLDG1100 CONSTRUCTION METHODS and BLDG1500 CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATING.
- This advanced standing is awarded based on prior learning and experience.
