Program Description

The program is part of the Vinod Chachra IMPACT Lab and is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity. The program covers core competencies aligned with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE). Students will learn practical applications of cybersecurity concepts, including data privacy and web threat detection, as well as preparation for industry-recognized certifications such as GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GIAC GPEN) and GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GIAC GCIH).


Course Outline

The program consists of six courses that can be completed at the student's own pace. The courses are:
