Program Overview

Project Management Exam Prep

Ohio Dominican University's Project Management Exam Prep is designed to prepare students to take and pass the Project Management Professional exam or the Certified Associate in Project Management exam. The program aims to expand professional skills and make students proficient in integration management, time and cost management, human resources management, and more.

Two Paths to Choose From

The program offers two paths:

  • Professional Path (Non-credit option): Primarily for those with a background in managing people and projects. This path is not for credit but may qualify for employers' professional development programs. The exam prep course meets on campus or online from 6 - 9 p.m. on Tuesdays. The cost is $1,300.
  • Foundation Path (For-credit option): Primarily for those seeking instruction in project management in addition to exam prep. This path involves completing two components:
    • First, complete the BUS-303: Project Management three-credit course, an eight-week course offered in the first half of each semester.
    • Second, complete the not-for-credit exam prep course, which meets on campus or online from 6 - 9 p.m. on Tuesdays for nine weeks in the second half of the semester. The cost is $1,965.

Program Guarantee

ODU guarantees that students will pass the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam if they take the exam within 120 days of completing the program. If not, they can participate in the program a second time free of charge.
