Introduction to the Eastern Virginia Medical School Physician Assistant Program

The Eastern Virginia Medical School Physician Assistant Program offers a Master of Physician Assistant (MPA) degree through an Early Assurance partnership. This partnership allows students to gain early assurance of their acceptance into the Physician Assistant program at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) in their junior year at Virginia Wesleyan.

Program Overview

Through this partnership, qualified students will need to complete all program requirements to maintain their eligibility for admission. Upon completion of their Bachelor's degree at Virginia Wesleyan, students go directly into the EVMS program.

Eligibility and Admission

• Students are eligible for early assurance of acceptance into the Physician Assistant program at EVMS in their junior year at Virginia Wesleyan.

Program Structure

• Students complete their Bachelor's degree at Virginia Wesleyan.
• Upon completion of their Bachelor's degree, students go directly into the EVMS program.
