Develop and deepen your artistic identity. The master's program in liberal arts is adapted to you and your artistic practice. Through a mixture of theoretical courses and practical work, you are trained in independence, critical reflection and professional presentation.

About the Program

The program builds on your artistic practice and gives you the opportunity to develop an independent and professional artistry.

• The teaching is characterized by the Academy of Arts' feminist and experimental pedagogy.
• The pedagogy advocates a horizontal relationship between student and teacher.
• You can move freely between different artistic expressions or immerse yourself in a specific technique, with individual guidance from working artists and professors.
• The program combines individual artistic work with elective courses in design, technology, art history and theory.

During the Training

During your studies, you work continuously in your own studio. You are given the time and space to develop ideas, test techniques and shape projects that reflect your artistic direction.

• Individual tutoring is combined with optional courses and workshops that stimulate your experimentation and critical thinking.
• Through supervision, practical experiments and critical reflection, you develop your artistic voice and get a solid foundation for professional artistic work.
• You get access to the school's workshops staffed by experienced technicians and teachers who help you work in a safe and professional way.
