Ph.D. Program in Economic History

Program Details

The program trains students to independently solve economic-historical research tasks that contribute to the development of research and result in a doctoral dissertation. As a Ph.D. student in economic history, you are expected to acquire broad knowledge of social science and historical methods and theories, as well as pedagogical skills, which can prepare you for continued work in research and teaching, but also in areas such as investigative work and public administration.

Program Structure

The program consists of four years of full-time study, divided into 75 credits of research courses and a dissertation work of 165 credits, leading to a doctoral degree.
