The course provides a concentrated period for artistic deepening at the Konsthögskolan in Malmö. It is aimed at artists with at least a bachelor's degree in fine arts who want to develop their own artistic project. During the course period, participants have access to a centrally located studio space in the school's premises on Bergsgatan in Malmö, as well as to the school's workshops, which provide good conditions for focused and continuous work.

Course Structure

• The course is based on each participant's individual artistic practice and provides the opportunity to develop a already started or a new artistic project.
• The project can be linked to an upcoming exhibition, a public commission, or another professional context, but can also be developed independently within the course's framework.

During the Course

• Work takes place through own studio work, individual tutoring, and joint seminars.
• During the course, participants meet the school's teachers and professors and other internationally active curators and artists invited to the program.
• Seminars provide an opportunity to discuss works, processes, and artistic issues together with other participants.
• The course ends with a presentation where participants formulate and discuss the development of their projects.

After the Course

Admission Requirements

• Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (180 hp) or equivalent, plus a work sample.
• Selection: Selection is made based on the ranking of the work sample.

Tuition Fees

• For EU Citizens: No tuition fees.
• For Non-EU Citizens: The total price for the program/course is 68,333 SEK. An application fee of 900 SEK is also required when applying through UniversityAdmissions.se.

Application Period
