Overview
The Professional Studies Major, BS is designed to meet the needs of non-traditional students, providing flexibility in scheduling, including a number of online courses using Web-based instruction. This degree program offers students the opportunity to transfer in a large number of credits earned at other institutions and also to receive up to 36 Experiential credits for knowledge accumulated as a result of life experience that can be demonstrated, documented, evaluated, and deemed to be in accordance with the curriculum and standards of the University.

The Major Requirements consist of 36 credits. To fulfill this major, students choose two academic disciplines from the following groups:
- Liberal Arts or Science Discipline: Select 24 credits
- Other Discipline: Select from a professional school or another liberal arts or science discipline, 12 credits
- Total Credits: 36
Open Electives
Open Electives consist of 29-40 credits. Students select 29-40 credits from available courses.
