Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Certificate
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies program at Pace's College of Health Professions is designed for master's-prepared nurse practitioners with certification in another specialty, or master's-prepared nurses who wish to become family nurse practitioners. Credits are determined by a gap analysis.
Overview
This 35-37 credit program is offered in a hybrid format and can be completed in 1.5-2 years. The program is available at the New York City and Westchester campuses, with a fall start date. It is not a STEM-designated program and does not offer an F1 visa.
Curriculum
The FNP certificate program is a 28-37 credit program for master's-prepared nurses. Credits are determined by gap analysis based on prior master's coursework. The curriculum includes courses such as:
