The Doctor of Professional Studies (DPS) is a unique doctoral program designed for accomplished executives who seek advanced knowledge, skills, and perspectives without interrupting their careers. This program empowers individuals to advance in senior management, initiate a consulting practice, or launch an academic career.
Program Structure
The program is hybrid, requiring on-campus attendance on 10 Fridays, allowing students to continue their full-time career and compensation while earning a doctorate in 3-5 years.
Admission Requirements
Qualified applicants must have at least 10 years of professional experience and an MBA or similar master's degree from an accredited institution.
Curriculum
All doctoral seminars are delivered in a blended learning format, with students attending class sessions on five Fridays of the semester and participating continuously in weekly online discussion forums. The program requires:
- 10 doctoral seminars
- 6 independent study courses
- 3 electives that expand knowledge and enhance skills within a concentration (finance, management, or marketing)
