The English Language Institute

The English Language Institute offers courses to students who are at least 16 years old and have completed secondary school. TOEFL scores are not required for admission to the English Language Institute. However, admission to the English Language Institute does not constitute admission to Pace University.


Admission Requirements

  • Each undergraduate and graduate degree program has its own admission requirements.
  • Academically qualified students who successfully complete the English Language Institute Pre-Undergraduate Program or Pre-Graduate Programs may be eligible for a TOEFL waiver for admission to undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Pace University.
  • Other tests, such as GMAT and GRE, may be required depending on School admissions requirements.
