Introduction to the Online Data Analytics Bootcamp

The Online Data Analytics Bootcamp is a program developed by Lawrence Technological University in partnership with Microsoft. This bootcamp is designed to provide students with the technical skills and strategic mindset necessary for success in the field of data analytics.

The program is 100% online, allowing students to learn on their own time and at their own pace. The duration of the program is 6 months, with a recommended commitment of 10 hours per week. The bootcamp is structured into 18 learning units, covering topics such as fundamental business statistics, analytics and visualization tools, and advanced analysis techniques.


Curriculum

The curriculum is divided into two main areas: technical skills and strategic thinking. The technical skills component covers topics such as:


  • Microsoft Excel for business analytics
  • Financial analysis
  • Statistics for data analysis
  • Data analysis in Python
  • Data connectivity using SQL

  • Value driver trees

The tuition for the program is $10,140, with options for upfront payment, month-to-month payment, or financing through a loan. Scholarships are also available, including a $750 Women in Tech Scholarship and a $750 Veterans & Active Military Scholarship.
