Air University Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative and MTSU

The Air University Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) is an agreement between MTSU and Air University (CCAF). Eligible students who have earned an Associate in Applied Science degree from CCAF can transfer credit from their prior learning to earn a bachelor's degree from MTSU in less time.


Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies

The Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies is an interdisciplinary degree that is unique to every student in the program. Students can choose two areas of emphasis and work with their advisor to tailor their degree to their goals. The student learning outcomes of the program include:


  • Identifying and evaluating insights from multiple disciplines by applying the interdisciplinary research process
  • Synthesizing connections between experiences outside the classroom and academic study
  • Developing information literacy and accurately locating, evaluating, and synthesizing information sources

Term Lengths and Dates

Full semester terms are 15 weeks, and accelerated terms are 7 weeks. Terms for summer are offered between 3, 5, 6, and 12 week formats. Winter session is 3 weeks.


Adult Degree Completion

The Adult Degree Completion program offers career-focused degrees and provides options for earning credit, including prior learning assessment and credit by examination.


EMT Training

The EMT Training program offers basic and advanced EMT training, as well as skills training in areas such as airway, patient assessment, bandaging, and splinting.


Professional Development

The Professional Development program offers continuing education units (CEU) and various courses for professional development.


Dual Enrollment

The Dual Enrollment program allows students to take college courses while still in high school. The program includes a student handbook and grant opportunities.


Advising

The Advising program provides guidance for students, including advising overview, graduate program advising, and help with choosing a major.
